He's far too handsome and kind and soooo out of your depth. The little voice in her head told, and the voice sounded so much like her grandmother who was an old crazy boot.

Lucania was sitting like a lady of court, she didn't notice that she was, it was just a habit she's got.

And she tries to talk to one of the King's sons, to convince them that the rebellion isn't evil, that they just want a better way of life. That sort of thing... And the King doesn't hang her, but keeps her as a 'pet'... And then, the other I had was introducing kind of a double agent, giving secrets to each side at just the right moment to lure both parties into his trap, and once both trust him, he'll bring in his army to try and scare, or force, them into naming him king and joining his army... Well, he tries anyway.. its one of those things that would make the rebels and the kingdom work together.]

Lucania was in her father's ballroom with her brothers because they where welcoming Lady Fleur to their home. She was wearing a royal blue dress with lace trim and her long raven hair was up in twists

William stood next to his father's throne as he waited for lady Fleur to arrive. He was told that either himself or one of his brothers would marry Lady Fleur. William wasn't so sure if he wanted to get married.

2012-07-08 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Henry stood next to William, a slight scowl on his face. None of the brothers seemed entirely fond of the idea of an arranged marriage. But after finding out how young she was, he almost hoped that he or one of his brothers liked her... Otherwise she may wind up married to their father, who was a little older then her own.

Geoffery stared at the wall, off in a sort of day dream. He wasn't interested at all in getting married to someone he hardly knew. If his father liked the woman though, it was doubtful that he would have her marry him. If he disliked her, then the possibility was high.

Guy was waiting, tapping the arm of his throne a little. He stood when the young Lady Fleur was announced. He had been impatiently waiting, even though the girl was a day earlier then she had planned.

Fleur looked around just before she was announced. Her home sense childhood was no where near this size, and it was very intimidating. And she thought it was beautiful. She looked a head when the doors opened, smiling lightly to her young ladies. The ladies she kept now were very young indeed, the oldest being fifteen. She did this, sense her new step-mother was once her lady's maid...And she learned then how many of her ladies had given their virtue to her father and his men. Now they were much to young, their virtue saved by that youth. She was wearing a deep rose pink gown with black lace trim, her long blonde hair in curls. The curls were piled on the top and back of her head, but with how long her hair was, some still tumbled down over her pale shoulders.

2012-07-08 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucania looked over at Fleur and she thought she was beautiful and she seemed kind but only time would tell. She did like her dress. She hoped one of her brother would take to her instead of her father.

William looked over at Fleur and he was taken back by her beauty.

2012-07-08 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy walked over to her, smiling as she curtsied. "My dear Lady Fleur. Your father did not do your beauty justice in his letters. He did this on purpose no doubt, to stun us all." He could be charming when he wanted to be.


Fleur blushed at the compliment, "My lord, I assure you he did not do so. It has been nearly ten years sense I saw him in person. I am sure he described the very awkward child I made." She came up from her curtsy. She looked a bit nervous, like she felt out of place. "You have a very beautiful home My lord, I have not seen anything like it." She looked around. Her words and nature were entirely genuine.

2012-07-09 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucania gaped sightly at her father when he turned on his charm. She hoped one of her brothers would take to Fleur's beauty.

William was taken back by Fleur's beauty and shyness. He glanced at his brothers to see their reaction.

2012-07-09 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy just nodded, "Ah, well it is his loss, and our gain. Please, allow me to introduce my children."

Henry glanced to William and smirked a little, seeing his reaction, "Worked on you, didn't it.." He said, just loud enough for him to hear. His smirk went away when their father turned towards them.

Geoffery seemed mildly surprised by her looks, glancing to his brothers to judge theirs. Now he had a little more interest in the woman's fate, but not so much as to marry her. He barely knew her, and he was too young. Or at least that's how he felt about marriage all together.

Guy indicated to his children as he said their names, "My eldest son William, then Henry and my daughter Lucania. My youngest son Geoffery."

Fleur silently wished the Baron would stop complimenting her, blushing again. It had been driven into her mind for so long that she was nothing special, only tolerable looking, and mildly good company when there was no one else, that she fully believed it. And compliments felt out of place when given to her. She curtsied once more to his children as they were introduced, briefly meeting William's gaze. She blushed again, at least her blushes weren't near as bright as the first, and she quickly looked away.

2012-07-09 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucania curtsied and smiled softly at Fleur. She could see Fleur was embarrassed by Guy's charms and compliments. She glanced over at her brothers and she saw that Henry had no interest, Geoffery had some interest but William did have a interest in her. She was glad it was William.

William smiled just a little when he saw Fleur blushing. He liked that shade of red on her cheeks.

2012-07-09 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Guy looked to the door, where some of his men needed to speak with him. He turned to Fleur. "You must excuse me. If you would like, you can retire to your room, I am sure you're tired from your journey. Or if you'd rather, my children could show you around."

"Of course. Please do not let me keep you."Fleur said, smiling softly, "I would like to see more of your home, if it is no trouble." She glanced to William once more.

2012-07-09 [Cerulean Sins]: Lucania smiled as she walked over to Fleur."Bonjour. Do you mind if I show you around?" She smiled. She was excited to have another woman in the household.

2012-07-09 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur smiled and nodded a little, "I would be delighted, thank you." She was glad to she would have an opportunity to speak with Lucania, it would be easier to speak with another woman.

Guy nodded, satisfied, "It is settled then. I shall try to be finished before supper, however, I know my family and servants will make you welcome." He bowed his head before leaving.

2012-07-09 [Cerulean Sins]: Luncania curtsied when her father left then she smiled at Fleur."Shall we?"

2012-07-09 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur curtsied also, then smiled and nodded. "Please." She looked to her lady's-maids, smiling very softly. She was clearly fond of the girls, "You're all dismissed, go rest, please." She said. The girls curtsied before being led away to their own rooms. Then Fleur turned to Luncania, "Now I really am ready. Please forgive me."

2012-07-10 [Cerulean Sins]: Luncania smiled and she walked with Fleur on the tour of her home. She told Fleur stories of her childhood with her brothers....well she told the good ones because she wanted Fleur to feel at home here.

2012-07-10 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur walked with her, smiling a little. She envied Luncania's childhood. The only stories she had to tell were of her education, and the rare summer trips she would take.

Geoffery watched them leave, smirking a little at his eldest brother. "Henry, I think our brother might be falling from our noble bachelor ranks."

Henry nodded, "I think so.. She's a bit..pale though. Pale hair, pale skin, pale eyes..Pale." He wasn't saying this to be mean, more so to see William's reaction.

2012-07-10 [Cerulean Sins]: Luncania took Fleur out to the garden and she sat down at a marble bench. 'Sit and tell me about yourself."

William looked over at his brother's."The only reason I haven't killed you both yet is because it would upset Lucanica." He sighed.

2012-07-10 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur smiled, "There is not much to tell, I'm afraid." She looked around the garden, while trying to find the words. She looked to Luncania, "I am the youngest, though the only one who made it past infant years. I was very young when I was sent to live in Mulhouse, France. I was provided with the best tutors Germany and France have to offer. Twice I visited my half brother Nuremberg, Germany before he caught fever and passed." She shrugged her shoulders lightly, "That is all my life has been, tutors and rare, brief visits to my brother when I was younger." She smiled softly, "My father has just remarried, to a good friend of mine who worked as my Lady's maid for two years." She didn't think it was necessary to mention that her mother was-in her eyes- falsely accused of treason and executed. That wasn't talk for anyone, let alone two educated ladies.

Geoffery and Henry gave each other grins. The youngest clapped a hand on his shoulder, "Yes, yes, that is the reason." He shook his head a little and started away. "Well, if you must fall, she makes a worthy woman to tie you in matrimony."

Henry nodded, agreeing with Geoffery.

2012-07-10 [Cerulean Sins]: Luncania frowned softly."Where you happy back in Mulhouse?" She felt so much compassion towards Fleur and she would do her best to make her feel at home and loved.

William sighed loudly."Why on earth would I want to get married?" It was times likes theses he wished their mother was alive because she was always so reasonable and caring.

2012-07-10 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur nodded, "I was, it was beautiful. Fires destroyed much of it. I was helping to improve it, when my father sent word that I was invited here." She smiled, "Though he did not tell me why your father was so kind." It wasn't entirely true, she could guess.

"To produce an heir, first." Said Henry.

"And because a respectable woman would be very difficult to persuade to be a mistress, particularly a woman like her." Geoffery indicated the direction the woman had walked off in.

2012-07-10 [Cerulean Sins]: "I'm sorry you came here, Lady Fleur."Luncania said with compassion and sorrow. She didn't want another unhappy woman in the De Montfort household.

William sighed again."You know what? I don't think Lucy would mind if I killed you both. The house would be a lot more peaceful."

2012-07-10 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur, "Why are you sorry Lady Luncania?" She smiled again, "You have a beautiful and wonderful home, and land here. I confess that while my father did not tell me the exact reasons for my coming here.. I know it is a possible marriage between me and one of your brothers, perhaps your father." She looked away, "I only hope that it does not fall through again.. I could not bear my father's anger and disappointment that I have failed him again." She blushed lightly, looking to her, "Forgive me for being so bold."

Geoffery just chuckled darkly, "I would like to see you try William."

Henry smiled a bit, "Let me know if that happens, I'm going to go make use of myself."

2012-07-10 [Cerulean Sins]: "Your right about everything, Lady Fleur but this is not a happy place to live. My father is a very cruel man ever since my mother passed. He will be nice to you until you marry one of my brother or him. If you marry one of my brothers, please leave this place and never return. I beg of you." Luncania took Fleur's hands in her own and she looked so sincere and scared for Fleur.

William sighed."You two give me a headache." he walked out of the room. 

2012-07-10 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur looked to their hands and smiled light, "Oh, dear Lady, I have fooled you too. I am sorry for that. My father is not a kind man. No doubt he would falsify treason on my side, as he did my mother, and have me executed in the same fashion. As charming as your father was in his introduction to me, I was not fooled by it. Your father is either as cruel as my father, or a fool. And he does not seem like a fool to me." She was still sweet in all of this, but it could be seen that she was far more intelligent then her gentle spirit showed naturally.

The two younger brothers went off to spar, sense there was nothing else to do really.

2012-07-10 [Cerulean Sins]: "I'm glad you understand. The other women weren't so understanding and I couldn't sit for a week."Luncania sighed.

William went to the stables to tend to his horse, Nightmare.

2012-07-10 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur smiled, then sighed softly, "Yes, I understand very well." She looked at her, smiling once more, "But what can we do, we are only women after all." She grinned a little.

2012-07-11 [Cerulean Sins]: "Pout and sigh until one of my brothers asks what's wrong and control them."Luncania giggled.

2012-07-11 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur giggled, blushing a bit when the image of William crossed her mind. "My mother said something similar in a letter to me. She gave this long letter, full of advice, to her housekeeper when I was first being sent away." She smiled, "I'm not sure I'd be very good at it though."

2012-07-12 [Cerulean Sins]: "Just put out your bottom lip a little and look sad." Luncania smiled then she pouted.

2012-07-12 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur giggled a little, tilting her head to the side a little, "And that will work?" She asked curiously.

2012-07-12 [Cerulean Sins]: "Yes because the men here hate crying. The older men may hate us women but when we cry it makes them feel helpless."Luncania smirked just a little.

2012-07-12 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Fleur smiled, then sighed. "I wish that would work with my father.. Crying makes him uncomfortable, and he likes to think that uncomfortable things can be solved with shouting, or hitting if shouting doesn't work." She shrugged lightly.

2012-07-12 [Cerulean Sins]: "Your brave."Luncania said.

2012-07-12 [Cerulean Sins]: "Because I see it in your eyes, Lady Fleur. After all you have been through, you haven't broken. A lesser woman would have broken into tiny pieces."
